Read the passage below carefully. "Chinedu was extremely anxious about his upcoming examinations. He felt that the subjects were difficult and his preparation was insufficient. Nevertheless, he decided to work hard and attend extra classes. His friends encouraged him, saying that perseverance would lead to success. By the end of the week, his confidence grew, and he felt ready to tackle the papers." Answer the following questions:
