The population of a country was 12,000,000 in the year 2020. For the first three years (2021‑2023) the natural increase rate was 2.5 % per annum and net migration was +30,000 persons each year. From 2024 onward the natural increase rate fell to 1.8 % per annum. Net migration remained +30,000 persons per year for 2024‑2025 and then became -20,000 persons per year for the remaining years up to the end of 2029.
