A block of mass \(1.5 \text{ kg}\) slides down a smooth incline that is \(4.0 \text{ m}\) long and makes an angle of \(25^{\circ}\) with the horizontal. At the bottom it encounters a rough horizontal surface (coefficient of kinetic friction \(\mu_k = 0.15\)) and, after travelling a total of \(1.2 \text{ m}\) on this surface, compresses a spring of constant \(k = 300 \text{ N m}^{-1}\) fixed to a wall and momentarily comes to rest. Find the maximum compression of the spring (in metres, to two decimal places).
