The measured map distance from A to B is 5.6 cm with a bearing of N 30° E. The measured map distance from B to C is 3.2 cm with a bearing of S 45° E. Elevations obtained from the contour lines are 120 m at A, 180 m at B and 260 m at C. A river runs from point D (elevation 300 m) to point E (elevation 100 m) along a straight line on the map measured 7.5 cm with a bearing of S 20° W. Using this information answer the questions that follow.
